With transport museums, natural bush and parklands all in one place, Whiteman Park is a rich and unique venue for your school excursion.

We know you want to give your students an excursion of unforgettable memories that is also a high quality learning experience which will enhance curriculum units in the classroom.  Whiteman Park gives teachers the opportunity to do just this with exceptional taught educatiion programs, heritage adventures and an environment ready for play and exploration.

Book your Pre-Primaries to Year 3 students in a curriculum-linked workshop taught by our education professionals to enhance, expand and energize their learning.  These workshops explore topics from the HASS, Science and Maths curriculum areas using hands-on experiences with nature and vintage artefacts.  Students role-play what life was like in the past as they climb onboard a horse drawn bus, they apply maths in the real world to prepare food for endangered animals, or they see the biological sciences curriculum brought to life as they meet our education animals.

Take your upper primary students to the famous Children's Gnangara Groundwater Festival and immerse your students in the understanding about natural resources, dangers to our environment and what we can do to help.

Heritage bus, train or tram rides, all abilities playgrounds, museum tours, nature trails and picnic games are all part of the experiences you can add to your wonderful day at Whiteman Park.
