The revitalization of Indigenous education is something we care for deeply at Waradah, that is why we are honoured to be bringing this unique service to many schools within, and also, outside of our local area. We have welcomed and enriched the visits of not only Primary and Secondary school groups, but also Private and University level guests and even specialized students from abroad.

Situated as we are near the Three Sisters at Echo Point in the pristine Blue Mountains, we are ideally located for both inner city schools and rural schools within NSW to come and engage in an interactive educational experience. Our domestic educational packages have been created with the current NSW Educational Aboriginal Studies curriculum in mind, but are also geared at engaging your students and broadening their understanding of Australian Indigenous culture.

"I thought the Waradah Aboriginal Centre was amazing. There were lots of interesting paintings, all with a different story about them. We were taught about Aboriginal culture and tribes and lots of different weapons. They even had real spears. We saw amazing dance performances and Aboriginal musicians played too. There was a possum skin and one of my friends thought it was so soft that he wanted to take it home. We got to take photos and also did a beautiful painting using Aboriginal signs. It helped me to learn more about my heritage and understand the culture that I am part of."
