Venture has been working with schools for almost 30 years. Our unique point of difference is our use of Adventure Based Learning (ABL) methodologies. Adventure Based Wellbeing activities teach students how to embrace their education in positive, mindful ways. They also foster collaboration, to help students create and strengthen bonds of friendship, and are catered to suit your students curriculum and your outcome requirements.
Our Outcome Focused Activities include group dynamics, leadership training, problem solving, resilienc and personal responsibility with long term impacts that have been successfully used on a range of youth groups and behavioural issues.
We only hire outdoor professionals with extensive experience and qualifications across many outdoor and therapeutically designed outcomes, including advanced first aid and necessary DECD certifications and clearances.
Venture provides two amazing training hubs at Mount Lofty and Blewitt Springs, as well as natural cliff rock climbing, incursion-based activities and even mobile rock climbing walls that can come directly to you.
What Could A Day With Venture Look Like?
The day starts at Mt Lofty Adventure Hub with students participating in inclusion activities, interacting with each other in fun, educatonal ways.
Your students then spend the rest of the morning and early afternoon working together in teams to support each other through the belayed High Ropes Challenge Course, or our 15-metre Rock Climbing Tower.
In the afternoon students work in groups to problem solve, learning how to use their new team skills and bonds to create and focus on learning how to appreciate each others strengths.
