Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, Sydney Learning Adventures has not been running any excursions. However we have been busy creating virtual tours at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney virtual events studios including 3 primary programs and 2 secondary programs which is now available as a virtual online program.
Archaeology and Aboriginal Virtual Online Programs
Another two virtual online programs have been developed for schools utilising the ICC Sydney virtual events studios. The newly condensed one hour Archaeology programs (Little Diggers, Dirt Detectives & Groundwork – Archaeology at the Big Dig) and Aboriginal programs (Ngara & Giba-Nura) Virtual online programs has been successfully trialled and are now offered. Onsite School Excursions (currently not available due to restrictions)
Sydney Learning Adventures vision is to create quality educational school excursions that are enriching, diverse, safe, accessible and sustainable.
Our school excursion programs have been developed in consultation with academic educators and practising classroom teachers. Our curriculum-linked, outcomes-focused approach aims to provide engaging, interactive, multi-layered learning experiences for all students. The programs are facilitated by our team of dynamic interpretive guides and cater to all stages and types of learners, from kindergarten to Year 12.
Primary: History, Geography and Aboriginal Studies.
Secondary: History, Geography, Aboriginal Studies and Ancient History.
Our programs are also suitable for tertiary students.
Program duration: 2 hours. Minimum of 20 paying students per program.
