After a rollercoaster 2020, the Learning Team at Royal Botanic Gardens is excited to welcome students back to our gardens for face to face programs in 2021. Choose from our range of curriculum-aligned programs across the themes of Health and Wellbeing, Science, Indigenous knowledge, STEM, Geography and Sustainability.
Take your students on an immersive adventure into nature with Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria on their next school excursion! Guided by experienced learning facilitators, our programs harness the rich environmental and cultural resources of the Gardens to provide opportunities that enliven and enhance the learning of students of all ages.
Discover the treasure trove of flora and fauna species that call the Gardens home as you engage in hands-on activities that encourage students to connect with the natural world and stimulate deep learning. Our programs encourage students to move, sense, explore, discuss and relate to the stimulating natural environment of the Gardens through their personal learning styles.
Each program is Victorian Curriculum or VEYLDF aligned and can address many learning areas and capabilities, including history, geography, science and critical and creative thinking.
Dependent upon covid-19 restrictions, bookings may be limited across Term 1 to ensure the safety of you, your students, and our staff. Get in contact to secure your spot!
