Ocean Rafting visits the best of the Whitsundays, the uninhabited islands with beautiful natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life. Ocean Rafting has a fleet of four vessels, enabling the company to cater for educational school groups with an emphasis on Marine Studies.
There are two exciting tour options ideal for school groups of all sizes, the Northern Exposure and Southern Lights, and each Ocean Rafting day includes a visit to Whitehaven Beach, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks. Ocean Rafting is the only tour to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach, and special snorkel sites at Hook Island and Border Island ensure a memorable underwater experience on island fringing reefs.
The semi rigid inflatable vessels allow for a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays. 70% of the vessel is shaded, providing comfort from the tropical sun.
Special school group rates are available including a buffet style lunch, stinger or wetsuit hire and marine park fees. Private charters are also available with half day or full day charter options for groups of 20 to 100 students. Choose your favourite destinations in the Whitsundays and tailor your private charter to suit your group.
Ocean Rafting has twelve years experience with educational school group charters. Groups can arrive at the Coral Sea Resort jetty by 9am for a 10am departure and return at 4.30pm.
