School Excursions at the Museum of Fire - As the leading Museum for understanding all things related to fire (e.g., bushfires and the role of firefighters in the community) the Museum is a great place to bring students as they can engage with the content they have been studying in school in a fun and interactive environment outside of the classroom. Our expert staff will guide students through key learning areas and assist teachers to deliver a worthwhile learning experience.
The Museum's education programs are suitable for infants, primary and high school students. Each excursion is an individual experience, and is tailored based on the age of the children, the topics being covered in class, and whether the visit is an introduction to a unit or the culmination of a unit of work. When you arrive, teachers and helpers will be provided with a structured timetable for your visit.
The Museum is located about an hour west of Sydney, and makes for a great day visit, or stop-off destination on your way to/from the Blue Mountains
If you can’t make it to the Museum for an excursion please speak to our team about our digital excursion options available.
