The fabric of Melbourne is made up of many threads - Indigenous beginnings, arts, multicultural influences, parks and cafe life, and, of course, sport. And upon British settlement of Melbourne in 1835, sport became the unifying thread of Melbourne life.

This tour has been carefully curated in conjunction with school educators and provides the opportunity for students to be outside in the fresh air not only learning about Melbourne’s sporting history and its influence on life in this city but also experiencing it by walking through our incredible, world class sporting precinct.

And we throw in a number of activities and quizzes that will get the students’ academic, sporting and competitive juices flowing and make this tour a memorable one for your group.

As Melbourne is also the sports business capital of Australia, home to most of the national sporting administration bodies, we also hope to spark an interest in the opportunity for a career in sports in the minds of our student guests.
