The Learning by Doing Woodwork Room has been working with schools throughout Victoria since 1991. We have introduced over 250,000 children to the joy of woodworking.
We are a fully insured, fully qualified and fully equipped Education Centre, working with children aged 4 15. Our head office offers a well equipped, tailor build workshop for children. School excursions are a regular occurance at our Centre. Many schools bus, train or tram their students in to our centre for a unique, 100% hands on building experience for their students.
We also have four fully fitted and well equipped mobile workshops that can conduct woodworking incursions in your school. We have a toy library with over 400 models, covering every conceivable theme and topic, from toys to transport, celebrations, tools, flight, the goldfields, animals, Australiana, musical intraments, my body, the weather and many many more.
