Aboriginal culture to hear, to see, to experience... to share!

Have you ever wondered what life was like 60,000 years ago? Do you know that 200 years ago a Boomerang wasnt a Boomerang, but a Wonguim, and the Didgeridoo is actually called the Yirdaki and never existed in South eastern Australia until only 100 years ago or so!

Learn why Koorie people are so different to other Aboriginal people around Australia?

Answers to these questions and much more about the fascinating Koorie culture are found at the Melbournes premier Cultural Centre, the award-winning Koorie Heritage Trust.
