Our teaching philosophy aligns with both EYLF and ACARA outcomes.

STEAM Workshops introduce new ways of teaching and learning STEAM concepts across both early learning and primary years of education by showcasing ways to support early STEAM education and make achievable recommendations to educations leaders and educators, with activities that will promote research, practice advocacy and lead to high-quality STEAM experience for all young children.

Our presenters and staff will arrive to your location with hundreds of magnetic blocks to provide a stimulating and fun building session suitable for all ages!

Children will be guided all the way to complete creations suitable to their age and ability. The creations will then be joined together to create one large final “Work of Art”. At the end of the workshop the children will help dismantle their constructions and tidy away the blocks.

Our programs follow a “Step by STEAM” concept, meaning that play marks a path to every goal. At every step there are leaning outcomes as children benefit from their knowledge, skills and critical thinking.

  • STEAM Workshops programs involve the following concepts and structure:
  • Problem solving is core to all activities
  • Children are encouraged to continually learn and innovate
  • Involve diverse concepts to encourage both girls and boys to participate
  • Adapted to a child’s age and ability
  • Focus on collaboration, inclusion and affective outcomes
  • Explore and learn science, engineering and math concepts
  • Stimulate creativity
  • Explore and discover new interest

The workshops have been structured in different scaffolded stages, depending on the age group and ability. Please contact out team to provide you with information for your service/school requirements.
