Apart from the unparalleled panoramic views of greater Melbourne, Eureka Skydeck entertains school groups with a variety of education program presenting students with the opportunity to explore and learn in the highest classroom in the southern hemisphere.

Students will arrive on level 88 in less than 40 seconds, where they can utilise Eureka Skydeck’s viewfinders, binoculars and LED information displays projected across the floor to help them discover Melbourne from above.

The Eureka Skydeck Education Coordinator works with teachers to provide tailored education programs for school excursions. Dominique says;
“Eureka Skydeck is a fantastic place to study the city of Melbourne from a geographical and historical perspective. With teaching strategies that are fostered on a greater student centre environment, it can be quite simple to experience increased class participation and discussion up here.”

Eureka Skydeck’s education resources are easily downloadable from the website and linked to the Australian Curriculum making it easy for teachers to plan an excursion.

Teachers are welcome to meet with the Education Coordinator at Eureka Skydeck free of charge ahead of their school excursion to tailor an education program to suit their students’ needs.
