While kayaking through a 10,000 year-old mangrove forest, students will learn about the native Australian flora and fauna, local Aboriginal history and the history of the Port River.   Our Marina biologist guides will provide an understanding of the importance of mangrove forests and students will interact and learn about the local population of Indo-pacific dolphins.

Our school programs will address a number of general capabilities within the Australian Curriculum including ethical understanding, critical and creative thinking and intercultural understanding.  Students will develop important skills including collaboration, communication, assertiveness, curiosity and social and cultural awareness.
