School Excursions at Crocosaurus Cove - Located in the heart of Darwin city, Crocosaurus Cove is home to the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles, including the iconic saltwater crocodile. Crocosaurus Cove is easy walking distance from most city central accommodations and easily accessible via public transport with off-street parking available for buses.
Start your visit with a meet and greet with our animal handlers (available for groups of 10 students or more) and meet our cute baby crocodile Fluffy, and his friends (a snake and/or lizard).
Then, discover each of Crocosaurus Cove's nine interactive shows daily, and learn all about Australia's incredible wildlife:
Meet the Reptiles Show (at 10am and 4pm daily)
Cuddle up to our snakes and lizards, with free-flowing question and answer opportunities with staff.
Fish Feeding Show (at 11am and 3:30pm daily)
Listen to our animal handlers’ commentary as they feed our Freshwater Whiprays and a variety of native fish including Barramundi, Archer Fish, and Herrings.
Big Croc Feed Show (at 11:30am and 2:30pm daily)
Watch our salties dine on their lunch and learn all about the power of their bite force, their incredible hunting techniques, their physical features, habits, and so much more!
Fishing for Crocs (at 12pm, 3pm, and 4:30pm daily)
Feed our feisty juvenile crocodiles during our Fishing for Crocs activity and watch them get their entire bodies out of the water as they jump up for food!
Turtle Show (at 1pm daily)
Learn about our beautiful collection of native turtles.
Between shows, explore Crocosaurus Cove’s Reptile House which is home to a wide variety of lizards, snakes, geckos, goannas, frogs, turtles, and more. Then, explore the World of Crocs and learn about the many different species of crocodilian around the globe.

Group rates (20% off) available for groups of 10 students or more. One FOC entry for teachers/escorts per 10 paying students. Maximum two FOC entries per group.
Standard entry (before discount): Adults $36 (over 18), Children (4-18) $23, Infants (under 4) free.
