Part A- Connect Incursions has designed K-6 Working Mathematically workshops, focusing on the skill set required to venture out into the real world. Using a supermarket context, students learn to make sense of money, with the opportunity to apply higher order thinking. Students are engaged in tackling addition and subtraction strategies while using real world mathematical vocabulary such as profit, sales, budgets etc.
Part B - Founded by an Industry Professional with over 20 years of managing and hiring experience, exceptional High School workshops have been designed to target Job Applications, Interview Skills and Resume Writing. Career Advisors can confidently book us and guarantee a full packed hands on workshop, equipping students with the confidence and skill set they need to apply for their first job. These have been exclusively designed to develop communication skills, with a high focus on the two competencies of self awareness and relationship skills.
