Camp Drewe is found on the beautiful North coast of NSW in Lennox Head, an easy 80-minute drive from the Gold Coast and a comfortable 2 hours south of Brisbane. The camp is on five acres, nestled amongst the heath land just 600m from the fresh water haven of Lake Ainsworth and just a 200m walk from the iconic Seven Mile Beach, with the sounds of the rolling surf and abundant bird life. There are no near neighbours to disturb or be disturbed, Camp Drewe is ideal for that School Group occasion.
Camp Drewe is a sole use site, this allows the security of your group to be monitored with ease.
Accommodation is dormitory style, this allows six students per room. We also have wheelchair accessible toilet and shower as well as ramp access for the dormitory. The facility accommodates 96.
Camp Drewe kitchen offers the choice of full catering supplying 3 meals along with morning, afternoon teas supper for your school program or you have the option of self-catering, this is only if your group has a qualified cook who is trained to cater with a food safety certificate.
We provide a large conference hall with data projector and apple I TV for lectures, movie nights or a quiet space to sit. (This room has a strict no food or hot drinks, crayons, paints and ball games policy allowing for conference space with provision for water bottle use only).
