  • The Gariwerd Dreaming Theatre: learn the Aboriginal dreamtime creation story of Gariwerd and gain an excellent insight into many aspects of the Grampians National Park.
  • Boomerang Throwing: Learn about this unique implement and try you own hand at throwing and catching a boomerang with guidance from a cultural officer.
  • Didgeridoo Workshops: Music is an important part of Aboriginal culture. Learn all about the didgeridoo and its hypnotic tones.
  • Bush food tasting: Take a guided walk around the native gardens and wetlands to discover the diversity of plants of Gariwerd and learn their traditional indigenous uses, then taste some traditional foods.

  • Six Seasons of Gariwerd: The six seasons helps explain the movement and activities of the animals, and teaches us to read the annual cycle of plants. Each season shows a unique side to Gariwerd.
