Boardrider Backpacker and Budget Motel Manly accommodates small groups of up to 40. Our accommodation is wheelchair and disable friendly with lifts servicing all floors and a disabled bathroom on level one. We provide dormitory style rooms with shared bathroom facilities (separate male and female areas) and private double rooms (some with ensuites) including DVD/TV hairdryer, iron and iron board, tea and coffee making facilities. These can be made available for teachers and carers. Wireless internet is available at a small cost. Six showers and eight toilets are located on the first level. All rooms are heated in winter and fans are provided during the warmer months. Bedding including sheets and towels are provided. Extra items can be supplied for a small hire fee.

Dining
Boardrider Backpacker and Budget Motel can provide breakfast and dinner packages. Breakfasts are varies and can either be provided as breakfast continentals at the motel or provided as a sit-down a short distance down
the beach. A hot dinner can also be provided at the same location. We are happy to discuss a clients requirements and provide a quote.

Boardrider Backpacker and Budget Motel is NRMA 4* rated and is near new building in the heart of Manly CBD. Manly is one of Sydneys most popular seaside destinations. Full of attractions and exciting activities including
Manly Beach, kayaking, swimming, tennis, golf, beach volleyball, roller blading, scenic and historical walks, art, parasailing, scuba diving, fishing, and dining.. Manly has a vibrant caf and retail strip and consists of national retail brands, boutique shops, hotels, and a variety of eateries in a pedestrian setting. It is also a busy CBD area. Emergency services are available easily within the precinct. Medical care providers and doctors are easily accessible and Manly Public Hospital is 2 km from the Corso.

LOCATION OF COURSE AND ADVENTURE PROVIDERS

Walkabout Wildlife Park
All of our providers except for two, are within easy walking distance of the motel. The two exceptions are the Q Station, where a bus is required to transport 2 km to North Head, and the Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park in Calga about a one hour bus ride North of Manly. Schools from the north, north west and western regions may wish to consider experiencing the bush component of the package before they carry on to Manly.Boardrider Backpacker and Budget Motel is happy to provide information about about activity programes, but is up to the group leader to check the suitability of these activities for their group.
