A school excursion education program with a difference – your students can help save Australia’s endangered wildlife
Australian Wildlife Conservancy’s (AWC’s) Yookamurra Wildlife Sanctuary, is the only AWC property with a dedicated education program for primary to tertiary students.
Located only a two hours’ drive from Adelaide, school groups will get exclusive access inside our predator-proof fence where wild, locally extinct mammals such as bilbies, bettongs and numbats have been reintroduced.
AWC staff will lead ecology walks, spotlight tours and projects specifically designed to provide scientific outcomes.
Students will leave with a greater understanding of science, ecology and conservation and will understand how we can all play our part in saving Australia’s endangered wildlife.
