Ankara Youth Camp is located at Walker Flat, (1 and a half hour's drive east of Adelaide) between the River Murray and Lake Bywater in the Murraylands region. Great for educational school camps and providing positive experiences for students and staff alike.
The campsite is great for school camps or study groups who want to provide their own programs focusing on water activities, study retreats, group development activities, or environmental, river systems and conservation studies. There is direct access to lawns, river, and views of the majestic cliffs at the opposite bank, river red gums, birdlife and river boat traffic.
Ankara can accommodate up to 118 people in our bunkhouse and cabin rooms. We offer self-catering, with a well equipped kitchen, dining room seating for 100 people, and meeting/recreation hall which can seat up to 150 people.
