Animals of Oz native Australian animal incursions are educational, interactive and fun. Our live animal presentations are designed to integrate with key learning areas within the P-12 curriculum. The students will explore biological characteristics of different animal groups, appreciate the vast biodiversity of our fabulous country and understand the importance of conservation. In addition to our standard presentations, Animals of Oz can tailor presentations towards specific classroom education programs.
Animals of Oz displays a variety of live Australian native pythons, lizards, birds, marsupials, amphibians, mammals and crocodiles during presentations to encourage safe and positive interactions with the animals. Animals are displayed in a safe manner that allows the children to touch and develop a bond with the animals. This assists in relaying simple key messages about the animals, such that the students start to develop respect and appreciation for the animal's needs and their habitats. We do not use venomous animals during our presentations.
