The Accommodation
Multi-share rooms
Adelaide Central YHA has a large number of both 4 and 6 share rooms, with communal bathrooms located on every floor. All rooms include linen, lockers and personal bed lamps.
Private Rooms
We have a selection of both twin and double rooms – either with shared bathrooms for the budget conscious or with ensuite for anyone wanting extra privacy. These rooms are conveniently located near to our multi-share rooms, so you can be near to the rest of your group.

- We have a dedicated School Group Coordinator to help with anything your group needs, from enquiry to check out.
- We take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of your group and are pro-active in ensuring we maintain the highest possible standards in the field of risk management.
- Staff members are available 24/7 to help with any issues or emergencies.
- All of our staff are trained and capable of handling any emergency situations that may arise.
- Your group will be allocated separate bedrooms and you will not share any rooms with other guests that are not in your group.
- Group leaders will be allocated separate rooms to anyone under the age of 18, unless otherwise requested.
- We will allocate your rooms as close as possible to each other, to enable easy supervision of your group.

YHA's Commitment to your School
- All YHA staff have Police Checks on commencement of employment
- The Hostel Manager and Assistant Manager/Groups Co-ordinator will ensure all your requirements are met and you have an enjoyable stay.
- YHA reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable - available to assist you with all of your enquiries and provide great local knowledge to enhance your stay in Adelaide.
- A member of staff is available 24 hours a day and can be called upon to help with any situations and concerns.
- When groups of minors are being accommodated we ensure that all teachers / group leaders are allocated to rooms with close proximity to the children's rooms to facilitate effective supervision. If preferred, teachers / group leaders can be allocated to the same room as their wards.
