Scenic World offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of different environments and ecological habitats. Located in the Jamison Valley, Scenic World allows students to discover the 90km area of the Blue Mountains called the Jamison Valley, exploring rare microclimates in the temperate rainforest. Aboard the iconic Scenic rides, students will be mesmerized by the valley that includes over seven different types of natural habitats.
Scenic World is surrounded by the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, home to over 100 species of Eucalypt, causing a rare and unique scientific phenomenon known as Rayleigh’s Scattering, which is how the Blue Mountains earned their name.
Our Scenic World guided experience offers schools a learning enrichment experience where students can surround themselves in geographic wonders with a history stretching back to the Jurassic period. Students can learn about the ‘Living Fossils’ that still inhabit our valley such as the Wollemi Pine, a scientific revelation that dates back 250 million years.
