The Marine Mammal Foundation brings marine research into the classroom. MMF’s school incursions enable students to expand on curriculum-based knowledge with real world examples and data covering a range of marine science topics, from classification of dolphins to ocean biomes.
Program topics include scientific concepts of classification, food chains and food webs, ecosystems, populations, adaption and evolution, as well as geographical and environmental science topics such water as a resource, marine landforms and landscapes, ocean biomes, food security, and environmental change and management. We enable students to expand on curriculum based knowledge with real world examples and data!
