The Adelaide Botanic Garden displays plants from around the world within different landscape themes that are complemented by stunning conservatories, heritage buildings, water features, statues, fountains, sculptures and monuments.
Schools use the garden as a living museum for learning about the fascinating world of plants and their importance to all life on earth. Discovery based learning programs connect across the curriculum to include science, environment, art, culture, literacy and language perspectives.
A wide range of learning materials and other resources to support school visits can be viewed and downloaded from our website, follow the links at www.botanicgardens.sa.gov.au.
Entry to the Garden is free, however all schools are required to book. A confessional entry to the Bicentennial Conservatory applies for booked schools.
