Camp Drewe is located on Seven Mile Beach just 1km north of the Northern NSW Coast town of Lennox Head. This puts us approximately 9 hour drive north of Sydney but only 2 hours south of Brisbane. Midway between Ballina and Byron Bay.
Set on 2ha surrounded by native costal heathland , we are in a quiet location only 150m from the beach, just 1km to lake Ainsworth for freshwater swimming and sailing.
We can accommodate a maximum of 112 people with 96 in 6 beds dormitories and our two holiday units with kitchen facilities can sleep a further 8 each. We allow self catered camps or we can arrange catering if you wish by our award winning professional caterers. Our dining hall seats up to 120 and we also have a separate fully carpeted conference hall which can seat up to 200.
On site we have a recreation shed with table tennis, handball and hopscotch courts. There is a basketball hoop, swings and a volleyball court. We also have a large playing field for your wide games but don’t forget the beach with endless possibilities for sand modelling and other games.
Camp Drewe mainly specialises in providing a great venue in which you can design and run your own activities, however we do have a number of contacts if you are looking for a more adventure based camp. Of course this area is known for it’s beautiful scenery and there are endless opportunities for excursions for bushwalking in many nearby national parks. Hang-gliding, diving, deep sea fishing, indoor rock climbing. And remember we are just a short 1 hour drive to the Gold Coast and its attractions if that’s your scene.
